look what I got!

Thanks to Lucozade Sport for being so kind! A huge box of gels, and energy bars, and the drink that’s supplied on course – so it’s vital to get used to training with it.

It’s all coming together this week – the quiz/disco I’m planning is starting to take shape, we’re having a cake sale at school, and I’m planning a fundraising girly night with wine, beauty stuff and Phoenix cards.

I did a really good session on the treadmill before school pickup and a half hour of Pilates. Somewhere in there I’m sure I must have some stomach muscles?

D’you know what? There was more to this post, but I just accidentally deleted it whilst trying to add a photo of no1′s lovely cake sale posters. And it’s been a really long day, so I’m going to stop now. I just remembered why I was so tired – I got up this morning at 4am. Oops.

I’ll just end with this: exciting things are happening this week behind the scenes. Tomorrow I’ll explain more about my plans for marathon day and how I want you all to be a part of it.

You got some energy drinks, energy bars and a pile of logs? Nice! ;-) Keep up the good work, m'friend.

Speaking of getting things sent to you – I got an e-mail with regards to a product test the other day and seeing as I'm not running at the moment I sent them your way. Hope that's ok!

    Yay! Firewood! :-D

(Can you tell that I'm not a runner, but have a wood-burning fireplace that gets used every night, even when it's not very cold?)

In all seriousness, that looks like a lucky score of goods. I'm glad everything is coming together and all your hard work is paying off.

I took that photo by the fireplace, and I thought 'wonder who'll mention the strange appearance of a pile of logs?'. You were on the list! Haha!

I know – lovely stuff and it's all starting to make sense. Just as well, because I think I'd reached meltdown point.

I have to confess the fireplace is just stuffed full of logs and doesn't get lit, because it doesn't have a working chimney. One day, though. I miss my real fires.

The weirdest thing is I completely forgot till now that I'd been up that early! I was wondering why I felt so sleepy.

brilliant – the raw material for the North Bucks Lucozade treasue hunt!!!!! (p.s. you got upat 4 am because you are subconsciously preparing for a post marathon return to endurance riding – which as you know always involves getting up at stupid o'clock)
